Just friends: Emma Watson chats to her co-star Johnny Simmons after a run in the country in Pennsylvania
Emma Watson has laughed off reports of a romance with her latest co-star Johnny Simmons.
Despite the couple being photographed going for a run together in the Pennsylvania countryside, the Brit insisted they were just friends.
Wearing a pair of cropped leggings and sports jacket, the 21-year-old looked fresh-faced after her workout session.
The Harry Potter star has been in the U.S. since last month filming The Perks Of Being A Wallflower with Simmons.
The movie is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Stephen Chbosky.
And despite recent internet reports claiming the pair are a couple, Watson's representative insists her client is just work colleagues with Simmons, 25.

Her rep tells the MailOnline: 'This is complete fiction.'
Watson was linked to Simmons just days after she lamented about her non-existent lovelife in an interview with the Sunday Times.
She said: 'I say to my friends, "Why hasn't X called me? Why doesn't anyone ever pursue me?" They're like, "Probably because they're intimidated."
'It must be the fame wall. It must be the circus that goes around me. Me, as a person, I find it hard to believe I would be intimidating.'
Keeping in shape: Watson has been spotted working out a lot more in recent weeks
In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, Watson said she and Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe often used to share relationship advice during filming.
She said: 'We would help each other compose texts to our most recent flames.'
Watson has been single since a brief fling with One Night Only frontman George Craig last year.
